Tianjin Scholarship 2020-21

The application process for the 2020-2021 Tianjin Scholarship is now open.

In conjunction with the Tianjin Municipal Education Commission, the Confucius Institute for Scotland’s Schools offers current 6th year pupils the opportunity to apply to spend an academic year learning Mandarin in Tianjin, China. Further information about the scholarship application process and criteria is included in the attached documents. Please note that applicants must be current 6th year pupils attending a state secondary school in a local authority with a Confucius Classroom hub.

General information about the scholarship including blogs from current and former scholars can be found on our website. Our alumni group has also made a promotional video about the scholarship.

The closing date for applications is Monday 4 November 2019. Please note that all applications should be typed and that incomplete applications will not be processed.
