Teach in China with Pagoda Projects

The China Education Association for International Exchange 中国教育国际交流协会(CEAIE) has partnered up with UK-company and global mobility programme provider Pagoda Projects to encourage UK graduates to teach in China and discover the Middle Kingdom on their funded teaching programme.

Driven by their mission to strengthen international relations through language and cultural exchange, CEAIE established the Teach in China programme in 2015 and have since brought over 1000 graduates to China.

Programme Overview:

  • 10-month placement as an English language or STEM teacher with an approved state school (either primary or secondary)

  • Salaries ranging from £900 to £1300 per month (before tax)

  • Pre-departure certified online TEFL course and 2-week teacher training in Beijing

  • Apartment accommodation included

  • Return flights reimbursed

As the programme is government-sponsored, there are no programme fees to take part. Applicants do not need to have an education-related degree, graduates from all academic backgrounds are welcome to take part!
