SCEN Youth Committee, Advisory Council, and the Cross Party Group on China Update

SCEN recently held several meetings at Grangemouth High School. Following the schools participation in a 2018 Forum and a meeting in Beijing with Lasswade High School, Grangemouth High became the latest school to host SCEN.

The Youth Committee met in the morning, members being asked to form an executive, discussed communications and a new flyer for SCEN.

In the afternoon Grangemouth lead a forum where various speakers addressed an audience made up of staff and pupils form local high schools..

A meeting of the Advisory Council took place in the afternoon.

SCEN hosted the latest Cross Party Group on China at the Scottish Parliament. Speakers including  SCEN Ambassadors: Simon Macaulay (Chair of SCEN); James Brodie, Olivia Contini; Maia Hollins-Kirk; Lewis Hanley; Chloe Lauder, Cameron Bisset, Lawrie-Tice Young and Xun Zhang shared their experiences with SCEN and China.
