CLEC UK Scottish Teaching Championship 2021 Application Deadline Extended

The Centre for Language Education and Cooperation (CLEC) UK is running a UK Chinese Teaching Championship this year. The competition has just been launched in Scotland after its success both in Northern Ireland and Wales.

The aims of the Competition are to construct a platform and a network for Chinese teachers in the UK; to encourage communication and exchanges of Chinese teaching pedagogies; to provide a CPD opportunity to improve Chinese teaching skills; and to enhance the quality of Chinese teaching quality in the UK as a whole. 

CLEC UK would like to invite teachers who are teaching Chinese in Scotland in any capacity to join the competition.

The Competition will run in two stages:

Stage 1: Submission of a registration form and a written teaching plan by Monday, 17 May 2021THE DEADLINE HAS BEEN EXTENDED TO FRIDAY 21 MAY.

Stage 2: Shortlisted contestants will be invited to attend a live Zoom teaching competition on Saturday, 10 July 2021.

The judging panel will be made up of 5-6 Chinese experts.
