With more than 1.49 billion people using Facebook, rendering it
the most populous country in the world if Facebook were a country,
the impact of social media on elections - whether in Scotland or in
Asia - cannot be underestimated. How are politicians
reacting? What are people doing to connect to fellow citizens and
political candidates? How are we seeing these trends play out
regionally and globally? Join us on October 29th to discuss with an
exclusive panel event with Elizabeth Linder, founder
of Facebook's EMEA Politics & Government Programme.
