Scotland's Confucius Institutes
04 November 2013
I attended the splendid launch of the Confucius Institute for the University of Aberdeen in late September; last week I visited the Confucius Institute for Scotland's Schools with its superb Confucius Classroom and the Confucius Institute at the University of Glasgow. On the Friday evening I heard probably the best lecture of my life at the Confucius Institute for Scotland at the University of Edinburgh, given by the international businessman Lord Powell of Bayswater (pictured right) on the drivers of China's future growth. It really is worth keeping in touch with the tremendous opportunities given to us by our four Confucius Institutes, where talks are often inspiring and absolutely suited to senior phase pupils as well as us!
