The Ming Exhibition at the National Museum of Scotland

Ming, The Golden Empire.  Discover the extraordinary story of the Ming dynasty (1368-1644), a period of China's history marked by economic strength and a dramatic flourishing of the arts.

This shows a collection of treasures from Nanjing Museum, many on display in the UK for the first time.  The exhibition explores the story of the Ming Dynasty and the cultural, technological and economic achievements of the period.

It opens at the National Museum of Scotland on 27 June and runs until 19 October: so perfect for a school visit next term!
