Dear Colleagues,
I hope this finds you all well.
I write to update you on the Meeting of the Chinese Teaching Club to be held next Friday, 4 November 2016, at Abden House, the Confucius Institute for Scotland at the University of Edinburgh (1 Marchhall Crescent, Edinburgh EH16 5HP). The items on the working agenda are as follows: we are still open to further suggestions.
1. Developing and Sharing Teaching Materials: individual presentations and round-table discussion
2. Organising Trips and Exchange Programmes: round-table discussion

If you would like to come to the meeting, please would you be in touch with me, zhu.zhu@ed.ac.uk, or my Co-Convener Lynnette Martin: LyMartin@aberdeencity.gov.uk. We need to know as soon as possible, so that we have an accurate figure for the buffet lunch.
Buffet Lunch: 1.00 pm
Meeting: 1.30 pm, finishing at 3.30 pm at the latest.
Please help us to spread the word about our very lively Chinese Teaching Club! As a branch of SCEN, the Club is a friendly and relaxed platform through which Chinese Language Teachers in Scotland, in schools, colleges and universities, can connect. Colleagues working in other related sectors are welcome to join too. We normally meet twice a year, in May and November, to discuss any issues of interest to members. If you know someone who is interested in joining us, please do ask them to get in touch with Lynnette or me.
