Contemporary Sculptures from Europe & China
Exhibition open 3-30 June 2017
Tuesday to Friday: 1100-1800
Saturday & Sunday: 1200-1800
Monday: Closed

A stunning collection of 31 sculptures created by individual artists from each of the 28 countries of the EU and three from China. Each sculpture is an individual response to the magnificent Terracotta Army of warriors, acrobats, servants and cavalry in Xian, China. Summerhall Church Galleries is the focus of the exhibition. Visitors should enter via Hope Park Terrace.

Some sculptures are in the main Summerhall building and courtyard. A few of the heaviest sculptures are in residence at Edinburgh Zoo. This exhibition, which has toured across China and in Europe, reflects a modern cross-cultural view of one of China's most well-known historic attractions and forms an artistic bridge between the past and the present.
