Beyond the Panda: Information from Sandie Robb, Senior Education Officer, Royal Zoological Society for Scotland

The Beyond the Panda education programme is basically split into two options -

1. China Mobile Library - loan of 'panda boxes' followed by an expert visit. We now have new P1-P3 panda boxes and upgraded P4-P7 boxes.

2. Outreach - Chinese Endangered Species outreach sessions which are Education Officer led workshops - available for both P1-P3 and P4-P7. For Secondary, we offer a package for sale which consists of an Endangered Species game, case study materials for more advanced students to write some simple interpretation or press releases in Mandarin and includes a glossary of scientific terms in Mandarin. The package also has a video training on the use of the game.
